Natalie Spooner won't be ready for the opening of the 2024-25 season according to Toronto Sceptres' general manager Gina Kingsbury.

Natalie Spooner had targeted a return in time for puck drop on the PWHL's second season, but according to Toronto Sceptres' general manager Gina Kingsbury, Spooner will not be ready for game one.
Spooner suffered a torn ACL during round one of the PWHL playoffs against Minnesota which required immediate surgery. She's been rehabbing and started skating last month.
Kingsbury however, told media on the opening day of training camp that Spooner would not be ready for Toronto's opening game November 30 against the Boston Fleet at the Coca-Cola Coliseum.
More to come.
