Chloe Aurard has been one of the NCAA's best players for years, and now she'll take her talents to the professional level with the PHF's Boston Pride. The Pride inked the Northeastern standout, securing one of the best players available this offseason.

“Northeastern has been my home in Boston for the past five years, and I am not ready to leave just yet," said Aurard in a Pride press release. "I don’t see myself anywhere else right now, but this city. I am very excited to be a part of the Boston Pride organization, and I can’t wait to get started."

Aurard’s been a Hockey East all-star in each of her four seasons playing for Northeastern University, was named to the Hockey East all-rookie team and was the 2020 Beanpot MVP.

The announcement of her signing comes only a day after the Boston Pride announced the signing of her Northeastern teammate Alina Müller.

Aurard recently competed with France at the IIHF women's World Championship tournament in Brampton, Ontario. As an assistant captain for Team France, Aurard was one of the bright spots on the France roster, which went winless at the tournament being demoted to Division IA for next year.

“Chloe is one of the most talented all-around hockey players we have watched play in the NCAA. Her skating ability and vision for the game is incredible. She has the ability to play in every situation and in all three zones during a game at an extremely high level,” said Pride head coach Paul Mara. “We are very fortunate to add a player of her caliber to our roster, and we are excited to see her bring her game to the professional level.”

This season with Northeastern, Aurard finished eighth in NCAA scoring with 20 goals and 54 points in 38 games. She leaves Northeastern having scored 204 career points in 167 games.

She'll join a Boston Pride team coming off a dominant regular season performance in 2022-2023 before being swept by the Minnesota Whitecaps in the opening round of the PHF playoffs.
