Midgley heads to New York after spending the past two seasons as an assistant with the Toronto Sceptres, following time with Team Canada, the NHL and CHL.
The New York Sirens have added Jim Midgley to head coach Greg Fargo's staff, naming the Townsend, Ontario native as Assistant Coach.

Jim brings a unique perspective, a wealth of knowledge, and an unwavering passion for the game that will complement our staff, support our players in reaching their full potential, and continue to drive our organization’s relentless pursuit of excellence.”
Midgley arrives in New York following two seasons with the Toronto Sceptres and brings a resume that includes time in the NHL with the New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers, as well as serving as assistant coach with Team Canada, where he won gold in the 2021 IIHF Women’s World Championship.

The Sirens now have a coaching staff which includes head coach Fargo, along with Valérie Bois (Assistant Coach) and Gordon Woodhall (Goaltending and Video Coach).
