PWHL teams will be looking for a variety of pieces at the 2024 PWHL Draft. Some will be looking for scoring. Some will be looking for shutdown players. Some will be looking for physical players who make their team harder to play against.

In Noemi Neubauerova, teams can find a mix of each of those traits.

Neubauerova recently completed her first season in the SDHL where she scored 13 goals and 19 points in 36 games. The year prior she closed out her NCAA career at Providence recording 26 points in 36 games.

    Neubauerova's impact goes beyond stats.

"She's willing to work...she's physical in front of the net, she's a great net front presence," said Czechia head coach Carla MacLeod. "Has a nice shot...but also dependable in our zone, again I think just a great two-way player."

That was evident for Czechia at the World Championships as Neubauerova could be seen on the ice for defensive zone starts, and got time in Czechia's bronze medal game overtime against Finland, showing the trust level she has from her staff with Team Czechia.

Her physicality was clear in the tournament as well, including a moment against Team Canada where Neubauerova went toe to toe with Marie-Philip Poulin protecting her goaltender.

She may not lead a PWHL team in scoring next year, but she'll certainly make a team more difficult to play against, and help teams win tight games from a defensive standpoint.
