After hints at last night's game between the Edmonton Oilers and Ottawa Senators, the PWHL today officially announced that the final location on their PWHL Takeover Tour for this season would be Rogers Place in Edmonton.

As part of this tour, the Toronto Sceptres and Ottawa Charge will face off on Sunday, Feb. 16, with the game beginning at 4 p.m. ET/2 p.m. MST at Rogers Place in Edmonton. Tickets will be available starting with a presale on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 8 a.m. MST, followed by the general on-sale on Friday, Nov. 22 at 11 a.m. MST. Tickets can be purchased at thepwhl.com/tickets.

“We are excited to welcome the PWHL Takeover Tour to Rogers Place and ICE District,” said Stu Ballantyne, President & COO, Rogers Place and ICE District. “This is the perfect opportunity to bring the world’s best women’s hockey players to one of the world’s best arenas, to play in front of the world’s best hockey fans. We look forward to hosting a very special and historic event at Rogers Place on February 16.”

“I am thrilled to support the PWHL Takeover Tour coming to our province,” said Honourable Joseph Schow, Alberta’s Minister of Tourism and Sport. “Bringing the PWHL to Edmonton will not only have fans flocking to see the best women’s hockey players in the world compete in our beautiful capital city, it’ll inspire the next generation of Alberta athletes to aim high and achieve greatness.”

The PWHL Takeover Tour will also make stops in Seattle, Vancouver, Québec City, St. Louis, Detroit, Raleigh, Denver, and Buffalo.

“Bringing PWHL games to fans across both countries is a natural next step as we continue building our audience,” said Amy Scheer, PWHL Senior Vice President of Business Operations. “When exploring potential locations for a PWHL game, the enthusiasm from cities eager to engage with our League was incredibly encouraging. The PWHL Takeover Tour lets us showcase our game and exceptional athletes across a wider North American footprint—an exciting moment for our players and an important move for our business as we consider expansion.”
