

Fanuza Kadirova with Russia - Photo © George Walker IV-Imagn ImagesThe PWHL announced their full list of eligible players for the 2025 PWHL Draft. The list includes 198 eligible players who declared themselves eligible for the draft which will take place June 24 in Ottawa.
“The continued growth of the PWHL is reflected in the strength and diversity of this year’s draft class,” said Jayna Hefford, PWHL Executive Vice President of Hockey Operations. “We’re proud to welcome nearly 200 players from around the world who are ready to make their mark on professional hockey. The draft is one of the most anticipated events of the year, and we can’t wait to share this moment with fans in Ottawa and those tuning in from around the globe.”
The list includes 116 forward, 56 defenders, and 26 goalies from 15 nations. 33 players have senior national team experience.
The eligibility list includes 113 from NCAA Division 1 hockey, 26 from U Sports, 42 from European and Asian leagues, and three from NCAA D3 hockey.
