The Metropolitan Riveters agreed to terms this week with two of the best players in the world, Finland's Susanna Tapani and Czechia's Katerina Mrazova.

“Susanna will be a difference maker in the PHF,” said Riveters head coach Venla Hovi in a press release. “She is an experienced Finnish Olympian and one of the best forwards in the world. Suski is an offensive threat due to her ability to make plays and her speed makes her tough to handle on rushes. She will lead the team by example and her humble, calm presence will be an asset for us in the locker room.”

Tapani's signing was broke by The Hockey News weeks ago, but only came to be announced today. Tapani has represented Finland at three Olympic Games, eight World Championships and three U-18 World Championships.

Mrazova was a recent member of Czechia's bronze medal winning roster at the IIHF World Championships, her second bronze at the event. The former SDHL MVP spent last season with the PHF's Connecticut Whale where she scored 17 points in 19 games and represented Team World at the PHF All-Star weekend.

“Kateřina is an experienced, versatile, two-way player,” said Hovi. “She is extremely good at supporting and moving the puck and has poise in scoring areas. Adding her compete and leadership into our lineup is remarkable.”

Mrazova is the second Czechia national team member to sign with the Riveters this offseason as Noemi Neubauerova also joined the team.

Mrazova and Tapani joined a growing group of new signings by the Metropolitan Riveters including Noora Raty, Lexie Adzija, Emma Seitz, Kaleigh Fratkin, Olivia Zufato, McKenna Brand, and Lauren Dabrowski.

Kind of pathetic if you can't beat Fluballo, 4 TIMES !!! Without Tkachuk the Sens are useless.

They won't play the Sabres in the playoffs so their kryptonite won't be relevant.
