The Goldeneyes re-sign the BC native to a two-year contract, which runs through the 2027-28 season.

The Vancouver Goldeneyes have re-signed BC native Katie Chan to a two-year contract, the team announced on Sunday.

The forward, who started the 2025-26 season in the SDHL with Färjestad BK and impressed at camp on an invite, played in 17 games during her rookie campaign.

Chan began her collegiate career with Colgate University, where she received ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team honours before transferring to Cornell University. There, in 2025-25, Chan finished her collegiate career with an ECAC Championship.

The Goldeneyes now have 14 players under contract for the upcoming season:

Forwards: Chan, Abby Boreen, Izzy Daniel, Jenn Gardiner, Mannon McMahon, Hannah Miller, Sarah Nurse, Gabby Rosenthal, Anna Segedi and Tereza Vanišová

Defenders: Ashton Bell and Sophie Jaques

Goaltenders: Emerance Maschmeyer and Kristen Campbell.
