The Ottawa Senators announced they have loaned forward Adam Gaudette and goaltender Mads Sogaard to their AHL affiliate Belleville Senators.

Gaudette has played in two of Ottawa's three games this season and recorded an assist. Sogaard has appeared in one game for both Belleville and Ottawa this season. He allowed one goal on 28 shots in the AHL and four on 13 shots in the NHL after coming in to relieve an injured Anton Forsberg on Monday.

The 28-year-old Gaudette led the AHL in goals last season with 44 and finished third in scoring with 71 points.

A native of Aalborg, DEN, Sogaard had an 18-9-3 record with a .916 SV% and 2.45 GAA with Belleville last season. He also appeared in six games with Ottawa.

Gaudette has shown chemistry with Zack MacEwen and Nick Cousins on Ottawa's fourth line and could find his way back into the lineup soon due to an injury to Ridly Greig.

With both Senators goalies Linus Ullmark and Anton Forsberg banged up there is a chance Sogaard gets called back up for Ottawa's game Thursday or Saturday.
