San Jose Barracuda forward Andrew Poturalski has won the Les Cunningham Award as AHL MVP for the 2024-25 season.
Poturalski recently captured his third career John B. Sollenberger Trophy as AHL leading scorer after posting 30 goals and 73 points in 59 games this season.
This is Poturalski's first MVP Award and a massive addition to his lengthy AHL awards resume.
The 31-year-old was named to the AHL First All-Star Team this season for the second time, the fourth total postseason All-Star selection of his career.
A 2019 and 2022 Calder Cup Champion, Poturalski scored the championship winning goal and won the 2019 Jack A. Butterfield Trophy as AHL Playoff MVP with the Charlotte Checkers.
In 527 career AHL games with the Barracuda, Charlotte Checkers, San Diego Gulls, Chicago Wolves, and Coachella Valley Firebirds, Poturalski has recorded 161 goals and 493 points, placing him just outside the top 100 on the AHL all-time scoring list.
The Williamsville, NY., native has three assists in nine career NHL appearances, including three games with the San Jose Sharks this season.
The Les Cunningham Award is voted on by coaches, players, and media members from all 32 AHL cities.
