Colorado Eagles forward T.J. Tynan recorded three assists in the Eagles 6-4 win over the Ontario Reign on Nov. 16, becoming the 49th player in AHL history to reach 600 points.

The 32-year-old has 102 goals and 498 assists in 649 career AHL games with the Springfield Falcons, Lake Erie/Cleveland Monsters, Chicago Wolves, Ontario Reign, and Colorado Eagles.

The Orland Park, IL., native is now tied with Cleland Mortson for 48th on the AHL All-Time Scoring list, he also sits 11th all-time in assists.

Tynan has one assist in seven NHL games with the Colorado Avalanche this season, a well deserved call-up after finishing fourth, third, second, and seventh in AHL scoring the past four seasons.

One of the best playmakers in AHL history, Tynan has led the league in assists four times, won back-to-back Les Cunningham Awards as AHL Most Valuable Player in 2021 and 2022, won the Calder Cup in 2016, was named to the AHL First All-Star Team in 2022 and Second All-Star Team in 2023.

Originally selected in the third round of the 2011 draft by the Columbus Blue Jackets, Tynan entered the season with 593 career points and has leapfrogged Trent Whitfield, Jason Krog, and Gordie Clark on the all-time scoring list.

Given the injuries that have plagued the Avalanche Tynan will likely play more NHL games this season, but he has a good chance to enter the top 40 in all-time AHL scoring by the end of the season.
