Dallas captain Jamie Benn has 19 points over the last 13 games and averages a point per game over his last seven matchups versus Edmonton.

Wednesday showcases ten of the NHL’s best teams going at it with the most exciting matchup being the Lightning travelling to Toronto to take on the Maple Leafs in a recent rivalry over the past few playoffs.

Other exciting matchups look to be the Stars and Oilers battling for the top spot in the West and the Coyotes look to surprise the Canucks with their red hot offense.

It’ll be an exciting hump day and with fewer games to bet on, you’ll want to be sure of your picks for this evening. Lucky for you, we’ve been red hot on our Pad Stacking challenge that you can check out today as we look to roll $10 as far as we can with our current winnings totalling $128 so far.

We look to bring some of the heat from our challenge into our best bets that are 7-6 over the past few days.

All betting lines are from Bet365 and are subject to change. Hockey is a difficult sport to predict so please gamble responsibly.

Bet: Coyotes Over 2.5 goals (-150)

The Coyotes are starting to turn their season around near the end as they’ve done their best to dig themselves out of the hole created by their 14-game losing streak. They’ve gone 8-7-0 since ending the streak and have seen their offense flourish with a 3.73 goals per game average.

They look to catch the Canucks by surprise as they’ve dropped three of their last four games with their 6-3 loss Tuesday night to the Golden Knights being the worst of it. Vancouver will now have to roll with goalie prospect Arturs Silovs between the pipes for tonight’s matchup as Casey DeSmith will likely rest after appearing in eight of their last nine games.

The young Latvian netminder did well in his first game this season with just two goals allowed and 22 saves against a weak Ducks offense. The red hot Coyotes offense could be more difficult to handle as they’ve averaged 3.21 goals per home game this season despite a mediocre 20-18-0 record.

The Canucks won’t go away however as they average the fourth-highest goals per road game with an average of 3.38 along with a top eight road record at 21-12-4 this season.

It will also be the Canucks first trip back to the desert after last seasons exciting 5-4 win in mid-April that excited hockey fans from beginning to end. We should expect another high-scoring affair between these two to close out the night.

Bet: Oilers Stars Over 6.5 (-105), Jamie Benn Over 0.5 points (-115)

The Stars have been rolling lately with seven straight wins but will have a challenge when they face Connor McDavid and the Oilers, who bested them 4-3 in their last matchup this season.

McDavid has been on a legendary pace this season with multiple points in seven of his last eight games and is projected to be just the fourth player all time to dish for 100 assists in a season.

The home ice advantage for Dallas will play a factor but you can count on the Oilers offense being lively in this one with the fourth-best offense this season averaging 3.59 goals per game.

They will need to score if they want to stay in the game as Dallas has become an offensive juggernaut as well with captain Jamie Benn having a bounce back season with nine goals and 19 points over their last 13 games. The Stars as a team are averaging the most goals per game since the start of March with a 4.08 average.

Oilers netminder Stuart Skinner has had a great season so far but has a bad record against Dallas with a 2-2-0 record and a 3.03 goals against average in four starts.

His last five starts haven’t been much better with a goals against average of 3.19 and a save percentage of .892 that were overshadowed by McDavid’s offense that carried the team.

The Stars will look to expose Skinner in a high-scoring game lead by their captain, who has three goals and seven points in his last seven games against Edmonton.
