The Columbus Blue Jackets and their fans will be glued to the action tonight as the Montreal Canadiens take on the Carolina Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. EST.

If the Hurricanes can come away with a win, it gives Columbus a chance to leapfrog the Canadiens in the standings Thursday night and clinch the final wild card spot in the Eastern Conference.

With all eyes on the game tonight and the rumours that the Hurricanes are going to rest their top players. Here are the projected lineups for both teams tonight:

Hurricanes Projected Lineup

Canadiens Projected Lineup

With the Hurricanes resting some of their stars, they’ve opted to go 11-7 against the Canadiens, who are dressing what would likely be their Game 1 lineup if they were to make it.

All the Blue Jackets need is one more loss from the Canadiens—then they control their playoff destiny. Let’s all hope and pray to the Hockey Gods that the Hurricanes come out on top in this one.
