Can Edmonton extend the series of will Florida lift the Cup in NHL 24?

With Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals tonight we simulated the game in NHL 24 to see if the Oilers could force a winner-take-all Game 7 or if the Florida Panthers will lift the cup.

Our series simulation predicted Florida winning the Stanley Cup in seven games. Our Game 5 simulation incorrectly predicted a Panthers win.

We kept the Oilers lines the same as they have been for the last two game, the only change for the Panthers was inserting Nick Cousins for Kyle Okposo.

The Panthers were able to win the game 2-1 on a last minute goal from Sam Bennett, capturing the franchise's first Stanley Cup.

After Vladimir Tarasenko opened the scoring for Florida Edmonton was able to tie it up off the next faceoff after a nice pass from Connor McDavid and finish from Zach Hyman.

Sam Bennett was able to get his own rebound after hitting the post and burying the Stanley Cup winning goal.

Both Sergei Bobrovsky and Stuart Skinner made big saves to keep their teams in the game. Bobrovsky had 16 saves on 17 shots, Skinner had 24 saves on 26 shots.

Florida fans certainly hope Game 6 ends the way NHL 24 thinks it will.
