Who does NHL 24 predict to take home the Stanley Cup?
The Stanley Cup is on the line tonight as the Edmonton Oilers take on the Florida Panthers in a winner-take-all Game 7.
We simulated the game in NHL 24 to see if the Oilers could complete the miraculous comeback or if Florida would take home their first Stanley Cup in franchise history.
Our series simulation predicted Florida winning the Stanley Cup in seven games. Our Game 6 simulation incorrectly predicted a Florida victory.
The Oilers were able to win this game 2-1 in this simulation. Warren Foegele scored the winning goal in overtime.
A Stanley Cup winning goal has not been scored in overtime since Alec Martinez with the Los Angeles Kings in 2014.

In the second period Florida appeared to tie to game as Edmonton poked the puck into their own net, but the whistle was blown for a delayed penalty before the puck crossed the line.
Gustav Forsling tied the game late after Carter Verhaeghe hit the post. Evan Bouchard opened the scoring for Edmonton off a primary assist from Foegele.
Despite Florida drastically outshooting Edmonton Stuart Skinner continued his strong play. stopping 31 of 32 shots. Sergei Bobrovsky made a few big saves but could not steal the game for the Panthers, stopping 19 of 21 shots against.
If this simulation plays out, it will be a Canadian team's first Stanley Cup since 1993, and Edmonton's first since 1990.
