Can the Lightning stave off elimination in NHL 24?

With the Tampa Bay Lightning once again facing elimination in their first-round matchup against the Florida Panthers we simulated Game 5 in NHL 24 to see if the series ends tonight. 

This simulation went the way of Tampa Bay, they scored early and often to win 5-0 and force a Game 6.

Our Game 3 simulation did not accurately capture the results of the game and our series simulation predicted a 4-1 Lightning series victory. 

We inserted Haydn Fleury and Emil Lilleberg on defense for Tampa Bay, replacing Nick Perbix and Darren Raddysh. 

We inserted Steven Lorentz and Kyle Okposo into the Panthers lineup for Sam Bennett and Ryan Lomberg.

Andrei Vasilevskiy posted a 20 save shutout, and the Lightning's defense core stopped the Panthers from creating dangerous chances. 

Sergei Bobrovsky made some great saves but did not get much help from his defense.

Tampa got lots of depth scoring and Nikita Kucherov and Brandon Hagel each notched two points.
