87 Mat Barzal, 86 overall Macklin Celebrini and Cutter Gauthier among new cards
Week 2 of the Next Gen Event is now available in NHL 25 Hockey Ultimate Team.
This week's Master Set Players are 86 overall Macklin Celebrini, Mavrik Bourque, Scott Morrow, Cutter Gauthier, and Jesper Wallstedt, and 87 overall Mat Barzal.
Like Week 1's release, any of these players who finish as finalist for the 2025 Calder Trophy will receive upgrade tiers up to 96 overall, while the winner will be able to be upgraded to 99 overall.
All new cards, including six new Wildcard players, are below.

To acquire Barzal players must trade in any two 86 overall Next Gen cards.
In order to acquire an 83 overall Next Gen card players must trade in three 81+ overall Next Gen cards.
It costs any three 79+ overall players to acquire an 81 Next Gen.
The five Master Set cards can be acquired by trading in three 83+ overall Next Gen cards and any two 83+ overall cards.
A random 83 overall Next Gen card is available if you complete all six weekly objectives.
