Hockey Ultimate Team is well underway in NHL 25.
The first few weeks following the games release are some of the most engaging and are an important time for building a solid squad that can carry you through the year.
With the new XP Path and less rewards available in HUT this year finding cheap players on marketplace is a key aspect of team building.
That being said here are 10 players that are available for 25,000 coins or less in the HUT marketplace that play above their overall.

The Base Icon cards all seem to play well above their overall, Sakic, Beliveau, and Marleau have great speed and shooting, while Lindros is impossible to knock off the puck.
Tall defensemen are once again a key part of HUT, and Chara and Hamilton are massive players with good stick checking.
Vasilevskiy and his size are great value while Stamkos' shooting fits the current one-timer meta well.
Suzuki's speed and defensive stats make his card a bargain while Kopitar is just a solid all-around card.
