Six minutes into the game, out of the corner of his eye, Alex Tuch saw Brenden Dillon of the New Jersey Devils hit linemate J.J. Peterka with a big open-ice hit at the Devils’ blueline.

“I saw him on the ground and I saw Dillon – I’ve played against Dillon since I first came in the league,” Tuch began. “That’s part of the game. If you’re gonna hit one of our best guys – I think it goes for any team in the league – you have to answer the bell.”

Tuch then spoke about how the team responded for the rest of the game, and what’s upcoming with the trip home and beyond.
