Looking at Week 6 in College Hockey, including a top-5 matchup between Maine and Boston College.

On to Week 6.

Maine will look to continue its ascent in the poll as well as its recent dominance over Boston College.

The Black Bears have won five of the last six meetings, with last year's weekend finale ending in a 2-2 tie.

Maine is coming off a two-game sweep against Merrimack last weekend, a pair of shutouts.

Senior forward Scott Harrison tallied seven points including four in Saturday's 6-0 win.

Meanwhile, the Eagles are soaring into this one, having picked up wins in their last four games.

Most recently, Boston College knocked off St. Cloud State on the road last weekend.

Sophomore forward Gabe Perreault tallied three goals between the two games and has five on the season overall.

No. 20 Notre Dame vs. No. 7 Michigan

The Fighting Irish will try to reverse recent fortunes against Michigan, having dropped the last five head-to-head meetings.

Notre Dame is coming off a weekend split against Wisconsin.

Sophomore forward Cole Knuble potted the overtime winner in Friday's game. However, the Irish dropped Saturday's game by a 2-1 final score.

Owen Say is one of the top goaltenders in College Hockey this season. The senior owns a 1.40 goals-against average and a .960 save percentage in five games.

Meanwhile, Michigan is coming off a huge two-game sweep over Boston University on the road.

The Wolverines rolled to a 5-1 win on Friday before storming back for a thrilling overtime win the following night.

Evan Werner, named the Big Ten Hockey's First Star of the Week on Tuesday, registered three goals on seven shots between the two games.

No. 13 Ohio State vs. #4 Michigan State

The Buckeyes enter this weekend having won seven consecutive games. However, Ohio State has dropped four of the last five head-to-head meetings against Michigan State.

Ohio State convincingly took both games against Lake Superior State last weekend, outscoring the Lakers 15-5.

Sophomore forward Riley Thompson collected six points on nine shots and four shot blocks between the two games last weekend.

On the other side, the Spartans return to action after being idle last week.

Michigan State has won their last four straight games, and most recently, a two-game sweep over Canisius in Buffalo.

Junior forward Isaac Howard leads the team in points (8), shots (33), and plus/minus (+6).

No. 17 UMass Lowell vs. No. 9 Boston University

UMass Lowell is off to a 5-1-0 start and has won five consecutive games coming into this weekend.

The Red Hawks took their only game last week, storming back from a three-goal deficit to top Holy Cross in overtime.

UMass Lowell boasts seven players with at least five points this season, including freshman forward Chris Delaney, who leads the team with five goals.

BU will look to bounce back after a challenging weekend against Michigan.

The Terriers enter this one boasting a 49-28-10 all-time record against UMass Lowell and have won the last three head-to-head matchups.

Boston University is led by freshman sensation Cole Eiserman, who has five goals, including a team-high four power-play tallies, in his first seven games.

No. 3 Minnesota vs. Wisconsin

The Border Battle is back.

The Gophers hold a 48-31-9 all-time (dating back to Nov. 1997) record in this series but have one win in the last five head-to-head meetings.

Minnesota is coming off an impressive two-game sweep over Penn State.

Sophomore forward Jimmy Clark scored a pair of goals last weekend, including the game-winner with under one minute left in regulation in Saturday's game.

Meanwhile, Wisconsin will look to get back on track, albeit it will not an easy task.

The Badgers earned a weekend split against Notre Dame last weekend but have dropped five of their last six coming into this one.

Wisconsin is still looking for their primary sources of offense, averaging just 1.8 goals per game this season.

Sophomore forward Quinn Finley, leads the team in goals (5) and is tied for a team-high with seven points.
