A prolific scorer despite his team's struggles, inks with Maryville, boosting the Saints' offensive potential for next season.

Baie-Comeau alumus Adam Cavallin has committed to Maryville University. Despite Drakkar's last place finish in the QMJHL this year, Cavallin had his best offensive season with 31 points (19 goals + 12 assists) in 53 games this season. These numbers put Cavallin first on his team in goals and fourth in points.

The Regensburg, Germany native has made stops in the CCHL and OHL before spending time with two prior QMJHL teams (Drummondville and Val-d'Or), finishing his career in Baie-Comeau. This annpoucement makes Cavallin the second Maryville commitment this week, joining Anthony Cardilli from the BCHL's Salmon Arm Silverbacks.

Being more of a skill guy, Cavallin could play in the Saints' top six depending on how this summer of commitments shakes out
