Adam Cavallin will play for Maryville University next season as they transition into becoming a D1 school for 2027-28.
After completing his overage year in the QMJHL as the Baie-Comeau Drakkar's season has finished, Adam Cavallin has chosen where he'll play next season.
The 21-year-old winger will join Maryville University next season, where they'll operate as an independent transition team who will join the NCAA's division one program for the 2027-28 campaign.
Cavallin had a pretty busy junior career that saw him have stops with the OHL's Kingston Frontenacs, before joining the QMJHL last season with the Drummondville Voltigeurs. He was then dealt to the Val-d'Or Foreurs last summer, played just six games for them before being flipped to the Drakkar, where he spent the rest of his overage year.

He put up 19 goals and 12 assists in 53 combined games this year with Val-d'Or and Baie-Comeau, which followed a 30-point (17+13) season with Drummondville last year.
Now, he'll get to head stateside and join a fresh program looking to spread its roots into the NCAA D1 picture.
