
Jack Devine has been named the NCHC Player of the Month for October.
The Denver Pioneers senior forward tallied a goal and 13 assists, making his 14 points the most in the country for the month.
Devine began the year with a four-assist game and has multi-point efforts in five of his first six games.
The Florida Panthers prospect tallied his first goal of the year last Saturday, guiding the Pioneers to a weekend sweep over Wisconsin.
Goaltender of the Month: Isak Posch, G (St. Cloud)
Posch has guided St. Cloud State to a 6-1-0 record and a top-10 ranking in the polls.
The Swedish netminder owns the second-most starts (7), seventh-best goal-against average (1.58), fifth-best save percentage (.946), and is tied for the most shutouts (2) among all NCAA goaltenders.
Posch opened the year with a 34-save shutout against St. Thomas and has allowed two or fewer goals in five of his seven appearances. He was named NCHC Goaltender of the Week for his performance in Week 3.
Most recently, the sophomore turned aside a combined 55-of-59 (.932) in St. Cloud's weekend sweep over Augustana.
Rookie of the Month: Zach Nehring, F (Western Michigan)
Nehring had an impressive first month in his collegiate career.
The Winnipeg Jets draft pick recorded three goals and two assists in four games, making his five points tied for the most on Western Michigan's roster.
Nehring scored his first goal in his debut. He followed that up with a two-goal, three-point performance in Western Michigan's 6-2 victory over Bowling Green, which earned him NCHC Weekly honors.
