How else can Anaheim build this roster out?

As the offseason continues for the Anaheim Ducks, they still have a clear need on the defensive side of the ice. They signed veteran defender Radko Gudas to a deal, but he can only do so much for this team. Anaheim has a hole on defense, and unless they want a repeat of the last few seasons when they were one of the worst defensive teams in the league, they need to do something. General Manager Pat Verbeek continues to look around for roster upgrades, and this will be something to watch as the summer continues to unfold.

In other Ducks news, John Gibson still doesn't know if he wants to remain with the Ducks next season. Second-overall pick Leo Carlsson receives praise from AHL head coach, and the team has a strategy to help them move forward better than other rebuilding teams.
