Can the Ducks actually improve this coming season?

It can't get much worse next season for the Anaheim Ducks after they finished with the worst record in the NHL this year. They added in some quality veteran players that they hope can help mentor the young, talented team that they have put together and are banking on the return of defenseman Jamie Drysdale. Drysdale missed most of last season with an injury, but his return will be a welcomed sight for Anaheim, and he could be the secret weapon for the team this year.

In other Ducks news, the team kept their depth and resigned goalie Lukas Dostal to a new two-year deal. They extended their affiliation contract with the Tulsa Oilers, and first-round pick Leo Carlsson continues to get praised by members of the hockey industry.
