Should Gibson return next season?
The status of goalie John Gibson and his return to the Anaheim Ducks next season still remains a mystery. The team hasn't said anything, and the last we heard from Gibson was on July 4, when he said that he was "uncertain" about his future but that he had productive talks with General Manager Pat Verbeek. If Gibson remains with the team heading into training camp, it doesn't mean he will be there for good. The two sides have been inching closer to parting ways for years now, and it should happen at some point, whether it is now or at a later date.
