Let's look at three potential landing spots for Morgan Geekie if the Bruins decide to shop him.
The Boston Bruins are currently out of a playoff spot, with the trade deadline approaching. Due to this, there is a chance we could see them make some changes to their roster and start their retool.
On ABC's broadcast of the Bruins' Feb. 8 matchup against the Vegas Golden Knights, Emily Kaplan reported that the Original Six club has received "a bunch of calls" on Morgan Geekie, Trent Frederic, and Brandon Carlo.
Geekie is having a solid season for the Bruins, so they could look to keep him. However, if they decide to officially make him available, these three teams could be in the mix.
Geekie could be a strong addition to the Winnipeg Jets' lineup. When looking at their current group, it is rather clear that they could use help down the middle, and the Strathclair, Manitoba native could grab their eye because of it.

If the Jets acquired Geekie, he could take over Rasmus Kupari's third-line center spot at a minimum. However, he could also replace Vladislav Namestinikov as Winnipeg's 2C. In either scenario, the Jets would improve down the middle by acquiring Geekie.
The New Jersey Devils stand out as a prime potential landing spot for Geekie. They are looking for more secondary scoring, and Geekie would have the potential to provide them with that.
When looking at a possible fit for Geekie in New Jersey's lineup, he could replace former Bruin Erik Haula at the third-line center spot. However, due to his ability to play all three forward positions, he could slot anywhere in New Jersey's middle six.

Geekie's versatility could also make him a solid option for the Los Angeles Kings. The Kings are looking for more scoring on the wing, and Geekie, who has 17 goals and 29 points in 52 games this season, gives just that.

If the Kings acquired Geekie, he would give their top nine a notable boost, whether he plays left wing or right wing. He also would give them another option for their power play.
