The Boston Bruins led 2-0 entering the third period, but the Vancouver Canucks fought back to force overtime and ultimately win led by Brock Boeser and JT Miller.

The Boston Bruins fell 3-2 in overtime for the second game in a row, this time to the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday after losing by the same score to the Calgary Flames on Thursday.
However the nature of the loss was different on Saturday, as the Bruins let a 2-0 lead slip in the third period.
The Bruins were called for too many men on the ice at 1:09 of overtime to set Vancouver up with a power play, and Brock Boeser capitalized with his second goal of the night to end the game. Boeser positioned himself on the doorstep and redirected JT Miller’s shot past Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman at 1:32 to secure the 3-2 overtime win.
Swayman had 35 saves in the loss, while Jesper Boqvist and Danton Heinen scored. Justin Brazeau notched his first NHL assist as Boston dropped to 34-12-13.
Besides Boeser’s two goals for Vancouver, which took sole possession of first place in the NHL standings with the win (38-16-6, 82 points), Miller had three assists and Thatcher Demko made 20 saves.
The Bruins had three power-play opportunities in the first period, with one bleeding into the second, but failed to capitalize on any of them.
Boqvist opened the scoring at 5:27 of the first period. Justin Brazeau won the neutral-zone face-off and pushed the puck up ice before centering it to Boqvist.
Heinen doubled the lead at 11:15, finishing off Trent Frederic’s wraparound attempt to make it 2-0.
The Canucks dominated offensive zone possession in the third period as they tried to get back into the game, ultimately outshooting Boston 16-5 in the frame.
Boeser ended Swayman’s shutout bid at 12:49 of the third following a long sequence of Vancouver offensive zone possession. Boeser received the puck in space inside the left circle off an O-zone draw and rifled it high to cut it to 2-1.
With Demko pulled for the extra skater, Filip Hronek tied it 2-2 with a slap shot from the point at 18:49.
The Bruins wrap up their road trip against the Seattle Kraken on Monday at 10 pm ET.
