Boston Bruins forward Pavel Zacha continues to create chatter in the rumor mill with August just about here. The 2015 first-round pick has been the subject of trade rumors since leading up to the 2025 NHL trade deadline, so he is certainly a player to keep an eye on as the summer continues.

When noting that Zacha is a top-six forward who has a good contract and is right in his prime, there are likely several teams that would love to add him to their rosters. Because of this, let's discuss four potential landing spots for the Bruins forward now if they elect to trade him. 

Utah Mammoth 

The Utah Mammoth is one team that has been connected to Zacha this off-season, and it is not difficult to understand why when looking at their roster. With the Mammoth looking to take that next step and emerge as a playoff team next season, there is no question that they could use more skill in their top six. Bringing in a player like Zacha would provide them with just that. 

Utah Mammoth Reportedly Interested In Bruins Forward The Utah Mammoth have reportedly been linked to Pavel Zacha of the Boston Bruins. According to <a href="https://www.thefourthperiod.com/summer-trade-watch-list-2025" target="_blank">David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period</a>, the Mammoth are one of the teams listed as interested in him.

If the Mammoth acquired Zacha, he would offer them another legitimate option for their second-line center spot. However, due to his strong versatility, he could also fit nicely on their second line at left wing if acquired. Thus, he could certainly be a strong fit for the Mammoth if they ended up acquiring him from the Bruins. 

Overall, with the Mammoth looking to become a bigger threat in the Western Conference next season, acquiring a player like Zacha would make a lot of sense for them. They could also be an appealing potential trade partner for the Bruins, as they have plenty of intriguing young players in their system.

Vancouver Canucks

The Vancouver Canucks are another team that have been linked to Zacha this off-season. It is not difficult to understand when looking at the roster moves they have made since last season. They notably traded center J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers last season and then lost center Pius Suter to the St. Louis Blues in free agency this summer. Thus, it is apparent that they need help down the middle, and Zacha would certainly improve their depth at the center position.

If the Canucks acquired Zacha, he could slot nicely as their new second-line center over Filip Chytil. Furthermore, due to his solid two-way play, Zacha would also provide the Canucks with another option to work with for both their power play and their penalty kill.

Overall, after taking a notable step back last season and missing the playoffs, it would not be surprising if the slightest if the Canucks looked to make a significant trade before the 2025-26 campaign is here. When looking at the Canucks' current needs, Zacha could be a great fit on their roster if the Bruins are willing to move him. 

Montreal Canadiens

The Montreal Canadiens could be another team to keep an eye on when it comes to Zacha. It is no secret that they are looking to improve down the middle, so it would make a lot of sense if they made a push for a forward like Zacha. 

The Canadiens' biggest need right now is an upgrade at their second-line center spot, and Zacha would provide them with just that over other Habs players like Kirby Dach and Alex Newhook. Yet, even if the Canadiens played him on a third-line center role or even at left wing in their top six, their offense would still get a nice boost by bringing him in. 

Like the Mammoth, the Canadiens also have plenty of intriguing prospects in their system, so they could make for a good trading partner for the Bruins when it comes to Zacha. Thus, if the Canadiens came up with the right offer for Zacha, perhaps the Bruins could be willing to make their second trade of the summer with their biggest rival. 

Chicago Blackhawks 

While the Chicago Blackhawks are rebuilding, it would be understandable if they looked to bring in more talent before the 2025-26 season is here. Due to this, they could be a dark-horse team to watch when it comes to the Zacha sweepstakes. 

The Blackhawks have a ton of money to work with right now, as they have over $18 million of cap space, and defenseman Wyatt Kaiser is their only remaining restricted free agent (RFA). Due to this, they could certainly afford to bring in a player like Zacha right now. Furthermore, the fact that he is signed for two more years could make him an appealing target for a team looking to improve, like the Blackhawks. 

If the Blackhawks acquired Zacha, he could work well on either their first line or second line at left wing. Furthermore, he would also give the Blackhawks another veteran to help mentor their younger players as they look to take that next step.
