The Bruins are making some changes to their lineup against the Blues.

While speaking to reporters, Boston Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery shared that recent call-ups Georgii Merkulov and Riley Tufte will be in the lineup against the St. Louis Blues. In addition, Montgomery announced that Johnny Beecher will be scratched.

Beecher appeared in all of Boston's 18 games this season. However, he will now be scratched for the first time this campaign. In his last nine games, Beecher has zero points and a minus-5 rating.

This will be Merkulov's first game with the NHL squad this season. The 24-year-old played in four games with Boston last season, where he had zero points. Down with the Providence Bruins this season, he has two goals and 11 points in 12 games.

Tufte started the season with Boston but was assigned to Providence after appearing in just two games. He impressed down in Providence following his demotion, posting three goals and an assist in six games.

Patrick Brown played last game for Boston but will also not be in the lineup against St. Louis, as he was re-assigned to Providence on Saturday (Nov. 16).
