It was another terrible night for the Boston Bruins on Thursday (Nov. 14). The Original Six club fell to the Dallas Stars by a 7-2 final score and were immensely outplayed.
After an impressive comeback win against the St. Louis Blues last game, the hope was that it would help the Bruins get things back on track. However, this loss to the Stars certainly has lowered optimism surrounding the team again.
Following the game, Bruins defenseman Nikita Zadorov expressed clear frustration with Boston's play in the loss while speaking with reporters.
"We lost every battle. Soft on the puck, soft everywhere. Not finishing checks. We just got embarrassed today."
Zadorov was not wrong with his assessment of the Bruins' play, as the Original Six club was outworked in every way against Dallas.
