Former Boston Bruins forward Chris Wagner has been placed on waivers by the Colorado Avalanche.
Wagner, 33, has appeared in 12 games this season with the Avalanche, where he has one goal, seven penalty minutes, and 25 hits.
Wagner spent five seasons with the Bruins from 2018-19 to 2022-23, where he became a fan favorite because of his gritty style of play. In 186 games with the Bruins, the Walpole, Massachusetts native had 20 goals, 34 points, 122 penalty minutes, and 531 hits.

Teams looking for more depth could consider putting a claim in for Wagner. If he passes through waivers unclaimed, he will be heading back to the Avalanche's AHL affiliate, the Colorado Eagles.
