Boston Bruins forward Morgan Geekie was one of the team's rare good stories from the 2024-25 season. In 77 games, he set new career highs with 33 goals, 24 assists, and 57 points. It was an impressive year for the 26-year-old, and he is now entering a significant off-season.

Geekie is a restricted free agent this off-season and is due for a raise from his $2 million salary. While speaking to reporters, including 98.5 The Sports Hub's Ty AndersonBruins general manager Don Sweeney confirmed that Geekie will remain a Bruin next season.

There were some questions about the Bruins potentially listening to offers for Geekie, with his trade value at its highest. However, with this update from Sweeney, it is clear that the team has no intention of moving on from the 2017 third-round pick.

Given how well Geekie played this season, it is understandable that the Bruins plan to re-sign him. It will be interesting to see what his next contract looks like from here.
