On March 8, new Boston Bruins defenseman Henri Jokiharju made his debut for the Original Six club. During that matchup, the 6-foot defenseman had one block and a plus-1 rating in 18:38 of ice time.

Jokiharju wore No. 44 during his debut, becoming the first Bruin to sport it since defenseman Dan Renouf back in 2022-23. However, Jokiharju has now switched to No. 20 after just one game with the Bruins.

With this, Jokiharju is the 26th player in Bruins history to wear No. 20. The last Bruins player to do so was forward Jayson Megna, who did during the 2023-24 season.

In 43 games this season split between the Buffalo Sabres and Bruins, Jokiharju has three goals, three assists, and a plus-6 rating.
