The Boston Bruins are back on the ice tonight (Dec. 12) to face off against the Seattle Kraken. They will be aiming to bounce back after an ugly 8-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Dec. 10.
While speaking to reporters, head coach Joe Sacco shared that Joonas Korpisalo will be between the pipes for the Bruins.
Seeing the Bruins go with Korpisalo is not surprising in the slightest. Jeremy Swayman gave up a career-high eight goals in his last start against Winnipeg, including five third-period ones. Thus, starting Korpisalo against Seattle makes sense.

Korpisalo, 30, has appeared in 10 games this season, where he has a 6-2-1 record, a 2.40 goals-against average, and a .909 save percentage.
