This Bruins goalie is expected to have several suitors this offseason.
Boston Bruins star goalie Linus Ullmark is a player to watch incredibly closely this offseason. The 2023 Vezina Trophy winner is one of the top trade candidates heading into the summer. With Jeremy Swayman being the Bruins' long-term answer between the pipes and Ullmark entering the final season of his deal, a trade feels very likely.
The Bruins were close to trading Ullmark at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline, but he blocked the trade because the rumored team was on his no-trade list. There have been mixed reports on the destinations, as the Los Angeles Kings and Colorado Avalanche have been named the potential team.

While the trade did not come to fruition, the Bruins should continue to receive plenty of interest in Ullmark this summer. According to The Fourth Period's David Pagnotta, the Kings, New Jersey Devils, Ottawa Senators, Carolina Hurricanes, Edmonton Oilers, and Detroit Red Wings could all pursue the veteran this offseason.
Pagnotta noted that the Kings, Devils, Senators, and Hurricanes all expressed interest in Ullmark during the season. As for the Oilers and Red Wings, it is not a secret that they both need a true No. 1 goalie.
Ullmark currently sports a 16-team no-trade list, but it will change to a 15-team no-trade list starting July 1. As a result, the Bruins have some clear obstacles in a potential move. We will need to wait and see if any of these clubs end up landing the star from here.
