The Boston Bruins are preparing for what should be a busy trade deadline. The Original Six club has performed below expectations this season and sit below the playoff line. Thus, plenty of their players have created chatter in the rumor mill, including Justin Brazeau.
Brazeau, 27, is a pending unrestricted free agent with a bargain $775,000 cap hit, so teams should be calling leading up to March 7. This is especially so when noting that he is a 6-foot-6 winger who chips in offensively and throws the body. In 53 games this season, he has 10 goals, 20 points, and 81 hits.
When looking at potential suitors around the NHL for Brazeau, one team that immediately stands out is the Los Angeles Kings.
In a recent episode of 32 Thoughts: The Podcast, NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reported that the Kings are looking to add a right-shot scoring forward. Due to this, perhaps a player like Brazeau could grab their attention. He is one of the top pending UFA right wingers on a team not holding a playoff spot.

When looking at the Kings' lineup, Brazeau could slot nicely on their third or fourth line. In addition, he would also give them another option to work with on their power play because of his net-front presence ability.
However, with Brazeau having such a low cap hit and being a forward with size who produces secondary offense, there should be an array of suitors for him. It will be fascinating to see if the Bruins trade Brazeau to LA or another club by the deadline from here.
