The Boston Bruins had an eventful summer. They added several players to their roster, but none were bigger than Elias Lindholm and Nikita Zadorov. Each player will fill a big need that the Bruins have had and has the potential to be an excellent addition to the Original Six club.

Bruins superstar David Pastrnak clearly seems to think so. The 2014 first-round pick expressed clear excitement about the additions of Lindholm and Zadorov while speaking with The Athletic's Michael Russo at the NHL European tour.

Here is what Pastrnak had to say on the matter:

"Nikita [Zadorov], who is a big defenseman, I can’t wait to see him lay out some big hits this season. He seems like a perfect fit for the Bruins. And Elias [Lindholm] is a very good two-way centerman, which obviously the Bruins have had some pretty good two-way centermen. Elias scored 40 goals one year, too, so we know he can score. We have to make sure they feel as comfortable as we can and make sure the transition for them is super easy."

It is understandable that Pastrnak is excited about Lindholm and Zadorov joining the Bruins. Lindholm has the potential to thrive as the Bruins' new No. 1 center, while Zadorov gives the Bruins that big and mean left-shot defender they have been lacking.

It will be fascinating to see how Lindholm and Zadorov perform for the Bruins during the 2024-25 season and onward from here.
