    Tyler Bertuzzi has been extra gritty against his former club tonight.

    Last season, the Boston Bruins memorably acquired Tyler Bertuzzi from the Detroit Red Wings before the deadline. While his time in Boston was short, he was quite impactful and garnered a lot of fans because of not only his offense but his gritty style of play.

    Now, fast-forward to 2024. Bertuzzi is with the Toronto Maple Leafs and causing a major ruckus against his former team. 

    In tonight's matchup between the two Original Six clubs, Bertuzzi dropped the gloves with Bruins defenseman Parker Wotherspoon. 

    Bertuzzi, 29, has also been active in scrums after the whistles and ruffling the feathers of his former teammates. However, that is simply a big part of his game, and it is a notable reason why he has found success in the NHL. T

    Bertuzzi has appeared in 61 games this season with the Maple Leafs, where he has 12 goals, 29 points, and 28 penalty minutes.
