Former Boston Bruins goalie Linus Ullmark left the Ottawa Senators' contest against the Edmonton Oilers last night due to an upper-body injury.
Ullmark left the contest after the first period due to his injury. Senators goalie Leevi Merilainen replaced him.
This is such tough news for Ullmark, as he has been on a real heater as of late. Before this contest against the Oilers, he won each of his previous seven starts. In addition, he had two shutouts and had a .926 save percentage or better in each of them.

Ullmark was traded to the Senators by the Bruins this past off-season for Joonas Korpisalo, Mark Kastelic, and a 2024 first-round pick, which the Bruins used to select Dean Letourneau.
In 130 games as a Bruin, Ullmark had an 88-26-10 record, a .924 save percentage, and a 2.28 goals-against average.
