After receiving NHL interest, this former Boston Bruins forward has decided to stay overseas.

Back in May, insider Chris Johnston reported that former Boston Bruins forward Ondrej Kase was garnering NHL interest after a strong 2023-24 season with HC Litvinov. Yet, after not landing an NHL deal nearly one month into free agency, Kase has decided to re-sign with HC Litvinov on a one-year deal.
Kase noted following the signing that family was a notable reason why he elected to go back to HC Litvinov for the 2024-25 season. With this, he will also get the chance to play another season with his brother and former NHL forward David Kase.

Kase is coming off an excellent with HC Litvinov, posting 23 goals and 54 points in 48 games. Not only was he impactful offensively, but he also stayed relatively healthy for the first time in multiple seasons.
Kase played in just nine regular-season games from 2019-20 to 2020-21 for the Bruins, recording one assist. He also played in 11 postseason games for Boston in 2020, where he had four assists.
