Most of this year's top unrestricted free agents (UFAs) have signed their new contracts. While this is the case, there are still some solid players who have yet to find their new homes.

Among the top remaining UFAs still on the market is former Boston Bruins defenseman Andrew Peeke. In fact, one could argue that Peeke is the best remaining right-shot UFA blueliner still available for the taking. 

With the Bruins acquiring Will Borgen from the New York Rangers and bring back old friend Connor Clifton, it is highly unlikely that they will try to bring back Peeke. Their right side is now crowded, and re-signing Peeke would only make this more of the case. 

While Peeke's time in Boston is very likely over, he should generate a good amount of interest from teams still looking to boost the right side of their blueline. Teams will always value big right-shot defenseman, and the 6-foot-3 Peeke fits that description. It also doesn't hurt that he is in his prime at 28 years old.

Peeke appeared in 77 games during this past season with the Bruins, where he posted five goals, nine assists, 14 points, 105 hits, and 135 blocks. In 168 games over three seasons with the Black and Gold, he recorded six goals, 27 assists, 33 points, 254 hits, and 292 blocks.
