In March, Calgary Flames goaltender Dan Vladar underwent hip surgery. This ended the former Boston Bruins netminder's season, but he has now been given a very positive update regarding his injury recovery.
According to Flames team reporter Ryan Dittrick, Vladar is expected to be good to go for training camp in mid-September.

This is undoubtedly exciting news for Vladar, as he is entering next season with a big opportunity. On Wednesday, the Flames traded starter Jacob Markstrom to the New Jersey Devils. As a result of this, Vladar is expected to receive more starts next season while in a tandem with promising youngster Dustin Wolf.
Vladar, 26, will now look to bounce back in 2024-25. This past season was rough for the former Bruin, as he posted an 8-9-2 record, a 3.62 GAA, and a .882 SV% in 20 games. His injury trouble likely played a role in his struggles, and it will be intriguing to see how he performs following his surgery from here.
