This is certainly not the best news for this former Bruins goalie.

Ottawa Senators head coach shared with reporters that former Boston Bruins star goalie Linus Ullmark is week-to-week due to an upper-body injury.

Ullmark has not played for the Senators since exiting their Dec. 22 contest against the Edmonton Oilers with his injury. Now, the former Bruins goalie is set to miss a good amount of more time from here.

This is rough news for the Senators, as they are currently in the playoff race, and Ullmark has been excellent for them. In 23 games this season with the Sens, Ullmark has a 12-7-2 record, a .915 save percentage, and a 2.38 goals-against average. He was also on fire before getting injured, as he won seven straight starts

The Bruins traded Ullmark this past off-season to the Senators in exchange for forward Mark Kastelic, goaltender Joonas Korpisalo, and a 2024 first-round pick (Dean Letourneau). In 130 games over three seasons as a Bruin, he had an 88-26-10 record, a .924 save percentage, and a 2.28 goals-against average.
