The Chicago Blackhawks and St. Louis Blues squared off against one another at the 2025 NHL Winter Classic on Tuesday (Dec. 31). This was a much-anticipated contest, as the two Central Division clubs brought their intense rivalry to the outdoors.
Without much surprise, these two teams played a heavy game, and former Boston Bruins star Taylor Hall certainly felt that.

Late in the first period, young Blues forward Zachary Bolduc leveled Hall into St. Louis' bench with a hard hit.
The first period wasn't all bad for Hall, though, as he scored a power-play goal a few minutes before the big hit occurred.
