This Bruins forward is starting to heat up offensively.
The Boston Bruins picked up an exciting 4-3 overtime win against the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday (Dec. 7).
After being down 3-1, the Bruins scored two unanswered goals in the third period to force overtime. From there, Pavel Zacha scored the OT winner to get Boston their fourth consecutive win.
Bruins forward Trent Frederic played a significant role in the Bruins' victory, as the 2016 first-round pick scored two goals.
After an ice-cold start to the season, Frederic has been trending in the right direction. Over his last five games, the St. Louis, Missouri native has two goals to go along with five points.
Trent FredericFrederic showed last season that he can be an impactful offensive contributor, posting 18 goals and 40 points in 82 games. Now, we are starting to see more of that form from Frederic again, and the Bruins are benefitting from it significantly.
Let's see if he can keep this kind of play up from here.
