A few ex-Sabres players are gearing up for a big Game 7.

The second round of the 2024 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs will come to an end on Monday night. The Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks are set to play Game 7, and the winner will advance to the Western Conference Final.
This is a matchup that Buffalo Sabres fans should also be keeping a close eye on. Several former Sabres will fight for their playoff lives in this massive Game 7.
Former Sabres defenseman Nikita Zadorov and Tyler Myers will be in for the Canucks, while winger Evander Kane is, of course, with the Oilers.

Zadorov has been a real star for the Canucks this postseason. The 6-foot-6 defender has flexed his offensive muscles, posting four goals and eight points in 12 games. With that, he has also been incredibly impactful with his physicality.

Myers has not been as offensively impactful as Zadorov, with just one assist in 11 games. However, his dependable defensive play and overall experience have made him a key part of their group.
As for Kane, the Oilers power forward will look to have a big Game 7. When playing at his best, he is a real difference-maker, and the Oilers are hoping he can be just that in this crucial matchup. He is currently riding a four-game point streak and has seven points in 11 playoff games.
