This Sabres forward needs to end the season strongly.

With the Buffalo Sabres trading Casey Mittelstadt and Kyle Okposo at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline, it has opened the door for forward Victor Olofsson to be a regular in their lineup again. The skilled sniper needs to take advantage of this opportunity.
Olofsson, 28, has had a tough season. In 40 games thus far, he has six goals to go along with 14 points. Along with that, he was regularly scratched for a lot of this season and only played in five games from January to February.

With this being a contract year for Olofsson, this kind of season is far from ideal. However, since he is being dressed often again, he needs to end the season strongly. He is starting to show signs of heating up, too, as he picked up a goal in the Sabres' last contest against the New York Islanders. But can he keep this up for the remainder of the season?
Olofsson has the potential to improve his stats. He is a three-time 20-goal scorer and has posted at least 40 points in three seasons. He also scored 28 goals and 40 points just last season.
From here, it will be interesting to see how Olofsson performs for the rest of the campaign.
