This Sabres forward is playing excellently right as the trade deadline is near.

The Buffalo Sabres suffered an immensely frustrating 4-3 loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Monday (Feb. 19). While the Sabres had far more chances, they just could not solve Ducks goaltender and rumored trade target, John Gibson, as the veteran netminder saved 34 out of 37 shots.
With this loss, the Sabres lost four out of their last six games. While they have had their struggles as of late, one player has been on fire for them – Jordan Greenway.
Greenway, 27, is playing the best hockey of his 2023-24 season right now. Over his last four games, he has three goals and five points. He also was impactful in the Sabres' most recent loss against the Ducks, as he scored a goal.
Greenway heating up right now could not have come at a better time. This is because the power forward has come up as a trade candidate. Thus, if the Sabres seriously end up shopping him over these next few weeks, his trade value will naturally increase if he keeps this kind of play up.

There's no question that there will be a market for him if the Sabres listen to offers for him. This is because he is a solid middle-six winger who not only has skill but also plenty of grit and size. So, in other words, he's the kind of player who just about every contender would love to have on their roster.
Due to his hot streak, Greenway now has nine goals to go along with 19 points in 43 games this season.
