The Calgary Flames are in southern California for the first of a back-to-back in two nights, starting with the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday.

The Calgary Flames (18-14-7) begin the mom's trip to California with a Tuesday night matchup with the Anaheim Ducks (17-18-4). It's the season's first meeting between the two clubs, who meet again at the Saddledome at the end of the month.

Each team last played on Saturday, with the Flames losing to the Nashville Predators on home ice 4-1 and the Ducks defeating the Tampa Bay Lighting 4-1 at the Honda Center.

Right now, Calgary, 4-4-2 in their last ten, and Anaheim, 6-4-0 in their last ten, are separated by five points in the Pacific Division.
